wasalu jaco…japanese cartoon

I knew it. I think most of us were sure. But it’s a’fish, Wasalu Jaco, a.k.a. Lupe Fiasco, a.k.a. Percival Fats, pseudo-european english accent and all, is the lead singer and mind-horse of indie punk rock band Japanese Cartoon.

It’s being made pretty clear though, that Lupe (the rapper) is NOT the lead vocalist. In interviews he’s been denying this for a while, and I guess we still forgot to peal back the layers of Wasalu the Onion. Never underestimate this cat.
